Christians United Outreach Center of Lee County needs small individually wrapped candy along with stuffed animals to put in approximately 300 Easter baskets for kids under the age of 12. If you can help, drop needed items off at 2885 Lee Avenue anytime between now and the second week of March. Chatham Outreach Alliance’s (known as CORA) Food Pantry has a few must needed items which are shelf-stable milk, pasta, fruit cups or canned fruit, cereal and ritz or saltine crackers. Food donations are accepted Monday through Friday between 9 am - 3 pm at 40 Camp Drive in Pittsboro. The Joel Fund seeks to connect veterans and their families with peers in their community through the power of art.
