Robin O’Brien

Robin O’Brien is a native of Columbus, Ohio and, therefore, a rabid Buckeyes fan. She is a graduate of Campbell University, and her past radio gigs include stops in Southern Pines, Fayetteville, and Raleigh. In 1997, Robin was the public address announcer for the Cape Fear Crocs minor league baseball team – she was one of only 3 women working as such in professional baseball. After a 6-year sabbatical from the business, Robin is heard on the air weekdays from 10am to 3pm and Saturdays from 9am to 2pm on Life 103.1. Some of Robin O’Brien’s favorite artists include Jimmy Buffett, Van Morrison, Elvis, Linda Ronstadt, Sam Cooke, and Neil Diamond. Robin is an avid buyer of shoes and reader of trashy romance novels. She loves live theater, concerts, movies, and baked goodies.
