- Town of Robbins: Town of Robbins 4th of July Freedom Fest
- Location: Robbins Greenspace, 100 S Middleton Street
- Times: 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm
- Details: Enjoy live music with a great 80s band, food trucks, bounce houses, face painting, and fireworks at this family-friendly free event.

Saturday, June 28th, 2025
CUMBERLAND COUNTY:
- Fayetteville: Red, White, and Boom Fest
- Location: Main Post Parade Field
- Times: 3:00 pm – 10:00 pm
- Details: All American Chorus, Golden Knights parachute demonstration, flag ceremony, 3 major musical acts (Parmalee, Neon Trees, Ludacris) followed by fireworks. The event is free, but you must obtain online pre-registration for access to Fort Bragg.
- Hope Mills: Independence Day Kickoff
- Location: Hope Mills Municipal Park
- Times: 5:00 pm – 9:30 pm
- Details: Enjoy live music, food trucks, face painting, petting zoo , fun slide and much more. The evening ends with a Fireworks show at 9:00 pm. In case of weather cancellation, fireworks will be rescheduled for Sunday, June 29th.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY:
- Troy: Troyfest 2025
- Location: Daytime: Main Street: Evening: Lowe Warner Park, 200 Park Road
- Times: Daytime: 9:00 am – 2:00 pm: Evening: 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm
- Details: Daytime events include Independence Day parade at 10, food, vendors and kid’s zone. The celebration concludes in the evening with live music, family entertainment, food and fireworks.
MOORE COUNTY:
- West End: Great American Sing-A-Long
- Location: Seven Lakes Chapel in the Pines
- Times: 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
- Details: A 4th of July celebration featuring local artists and the Seven Lakes Choir. Advance tickets are $15 per person or $20 per person at the door. Each ticket includes a Barbeque Plate. Call the church office at (910) 400-5188 for tickets.

WAKE COUNTY:
- Fuquay-Varina: Fuquay-Varina Independence Day Celebration
- Location: South Park, 900 South Main Street
- Times: 6:00 pm – 9:30 pm
- Details: Live music, food trucks, a splash pad and fireworks starting at 9:15. Make sure to bring a blanket or chair and get there early for the best view of the fireworks.

MOORE COUNTY:
- Pinehurst: Celebrating Independence: Concert and Fireworks
- Location: Pinehurst Harness Track, 200 Beulah Hill Road South
- Times: 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
- Details: There will be music by The Ray Band, activities, bounce houses and food trucks. The gates open at 4. The fireworks will start at approximately 9:15. Don’t forget your lawn chairs and blankets!
RICHMOND COUNTY:
- Hamlet: Independence Day Celebration
- Location: 14 Main St
- Times: 6:30 pm – 10:00 pm
- Details: Live music from The Sand Band, face painting, super soaker by Hamlet Fire Department, sidewalk chalk art contest and fireworks beginning at dark.
WAKE COUNTY:
- Apex: Fireworks Frenzy
- Location: Hunter Street Park, 1250 Ambergate Station
- Times: 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm
- Details: The event will feature music, food trucks and a Kids Zone with inflatables and games. The firework display is scheduled to begin at 9:30 pm.
- Cary: Cary’s July 3rd Celebration
- Location: Downtown Cary Park, 327 S Academy Street
- Times: 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm
- Details: Family-friendly airplane-themed activities, food trucks and the movie Top Gun.

- Free Fishing Day – Every 4th of July, anyone can fish in North Carolina public waters without a fishing license. Some locations lend out equipment.
CUMBERLAND COUNTY:
- Fayetteville: Independence Day Concert and Fireworks
- Location: Festival Park, 335 Ray Avenue
- Times: 6:30 pm – 10:00 pm
- Details: Join the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra for an evening of music and fireworks. Admission is free with food and drink vendors on site.
- Hope Mills: Independence Day Parade
- Location: Rockfish Elementary to Hope Mills Middle School
- Times: 10:00 am
- Details: Come out and enjoy marching bands, floats, tractors, horses and more at the Independence Day Parade.
HARNETT COUNTY:
- Lillington: 4th of July Celebration
- Location: Lillington River Park, 151 East Duncan Street
- Times: 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm
- Details: There will be music, food, inflatable water slide and the annual fireworks display beginning at dusk.
LEE COUNTY:
- Sanford: Freedom Fest!
- Location: Kiwanis Family Park, 1800 Wicker Street
- Times: 5:00 pm – 9:45 pm
- Details: Live music, food vendors, splash pad and fireworks after dusk.
MOORE COUNTY:
- Carthage: Carthage Rotary Club’s 4th of July Parade
- Location: Starts at Monroe and Bruce Streets and continues to the courthouse

- Details: Enjoy marching bands, floats and more at the 4th of July Parade.
- Pinehurst: Village of Pinehurst Independence Parade
- Location: James W Tufts Memorial Park, 1 Village Greed Road
- Times: 9:45 am – noon
- Details: Be sure to come early and enjoy or participate in the annual Patriotic Pet Parade beginning at 9:45. The patriotic pets will kick off the fun and lead the main parade which begins at 10am! Following the parade, stop by the Sandhills Farmers Market in Tufts Memorial Park.
- Southern Pines: Moore County Concert Band, “Music Across America”
- Location: Emmanuel Episcopal Church – 350 E Massachusetts Ave
- Times: 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
- Details: Enjoy a performance with a variety of selections from various parts of the US. Admission is free and open to the community.
- Town of Aberdeen: Fun Family Fourth of July
- Location: Aberdeen Lake Park – 301 Lake Park Crossing
- Times: 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm
- Details: A free family-friendly evening with live entertainment, children’s activities, food vendors, and the largest fireworks displays in the area. Don’t forget to bring blankets and lawn chairs for your comfort. Fireworks start around 9:15 pm.
RANDOLPH COUNTY:
- Archdale: 4th of July Festival
- Location: Creekside Park, 214 Park Drive
- Times: 6:00 pm
- Details: There will be food trucks, live music, inflatables followed by fireworks after dusk. Rain make-up for fireworks only will by July 5th.
WAKE COUNTY:
- Apex: Apex Olde Fashioned Fourth of July
- Location: Downtown Apex
- Times: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
- Details: Flag raising by the mayor at 9:00 and then games for all ages, inflatables, food vendors, face painting and more! Then at noon the Parade of Wheels starts followed by the Fire Department’s Splash Down! Bring a towel to dry off after!
- Cary: Independence Day Fishing Tournament
- Location: Bond Park, 801 High House Road
- Times: 8:00 am – noon – Registration starts at 7:00 am
- Details: Fishing tournament for all ages. Prizes for the longest and shortest fish for each age group.
- Cary: Independence Day Celebration
- Location: Koka Booth Amphitheatre, 8003 Regency Parkway
- Times: 3:30 pm – 10:00 pm
- Details: Salute to the red, white, and blue with the music of the North Carolina Symphony, family-fun activities and a dazzling firework display over Symphony Lake at 9:25 pm. Admission is free to the public.
- Durham: Children’s Independence Day Parade
- Location: Durham Central Park, 501 Foster Street
- Times: 9:30 am – 11:30 am
- Details: Materials will be provided so kids can decorate their bikes, trikes, wagons and strollers. The parade starts at 10:30 followed by free popsicles and fire truck tours.
- Durham: 76th Annual Watts-Hillandale Fourth of July Parade and Celebration
- Location: Oval Drive Park, 2200 W Club Blvd.
- Times: 10:00 am
- Details: Oldest public Independence Day celebration in Durham. It’s a home-grown, old-fashioned parade that ends with an ice-cold Coke in glass bottles.
- Durham: City of Durham 4th of July Fireworks
- Location: Durham Bulls Athletic Park, 409 Blackwell Street
- Times: After the Durham Bulls game which starts at 6:35 pm
- Details: Biggest fireworks show of the year after the game against the Norfolk Tides. Gates will open for general admission at the end of the 7th inning based on availability for those that would like to view the fireworks from inside the ballpark.
- Raleigh: Independence Day Celebration at NC State Capitol
- Location: State Capitol, 1 E Edenton Street
- Times: 11:00 am – 3:00 pm
- Details: This annual celebration includes a naturalization ceremony for new citizens, a reading from the Declaration of Independence, a wreath laying at the George Washington monument and music by Raleigh Concert Band.
- Raleigh: City of Raleigh 4th of July Fireworks
- Location: Carter-Finley Stadium area, 4600 Trinity Road
- Times: 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm
- Details: Parking starts at 6:00 pm for this fireworks-centered event with the fireworks display starting at 9:30 pm.

- Randleman: Fun Day in Randleman
- Location: Commerce Square Park
- Times: 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
- Details: Free hot dogs, drinks, live band and great fireworks to end the night.
WAKE COUNTY:
- Holly Springs: Holly Springs Fireworks Show
- Location: Jefferson L Sugg Farm at Bass Lake Park, 2401 Grigsby Avenue
- Times: 6:00 pm – 9:30 pm
- Details: Enjoy a second day for the USA! Enjoy live music, food trucks, games, and spectacular fireworks. Be sure to bring your lawn chairs, blankets or towels. Fireworks are scheduled to begin at 9:15p.m. Admission is free and open to all.
