Pulled Pork Dinner Fundraiser

The Victory Community Baptist Church (915 Brinkley Road) in Carthage will be holding a pulled pork dinner fundraiser on Friday, March 10th from 11 to 7. The dinner includes slaw, baked beans, roll and dessert. Dine in or take out. A plate is $10.

Longleaf Planting 2023

The Three Rivers Land Trust is hosting Longleaf Planting 2023 on March 13th from 10 to noon. The planting will be held at Cotton Creek Preserve at 250 Cochran Road in Star. Help the Land Trust restore the longleaf forest.

Zach’s Toy Chest

Zach’s Toy Chest fights cancer one toy at a time. Currently, there is a NEW toy drive taking place through May 5th for North Carolina children ages zero to eighteen who are fighting cancer and other illnesses. There are drop off locations in Sanford, Pittsboro, and Greensboro. A list is provided on zachstoychest.org.
