The Habitat for Humanity of the Sandhills is holding a Faith Relations Lunch and Learn on April 18th from noon until 1 at the First Baptist Church (200 East New York Avenue) in Southern Pines. A “Lunch and Learn” is scheduled every third Wednesday of the month.

Meals on Wheels of the Sandhills’ Golf Event will be held on Wednesday, April 19th at Pinewild Country Club of Pinehurst. Shotgun starts at 9 am. National Association of Letter Carriers Stamp Out Hunger Food drive is Saturday, May 13th. Participating in this year’s Food Drive is simple. Just leave a non-perishable food donation in a bag by your mailbox Saturday, May 13th and your letter carrier will do the rest. These donations go directly to a local food pantry.
