The Three Rivers Land Trust is hosting the Uwharrie Trail Fall Thru Hike event October 13th through the 16th. This is a 4-day, 40-mile backpacking trip on the full length of the historic Uwharrie National Recreational Trail. The thru hike will go from south to north, starting at the Highway 24/27 Trailhead and ending at the Tot Hill/Talbott’s Branch trailhead. The cost is $150 but includes a one-year membership.
