Weymouth Woods (Sandhills Nature Preserve) located at 1024 Fort Bragg Road in Southern Pines will host a special presentation Sandhills Geology with Bob Ganis on Sunday, August 26 at 3 pm. He will discuss everything from the ancient bedrock to the origin of the Sandhills, and reveal some local fossil findings! This program is free and open to the public.
