Celebrate the birthday of the world’s oldest known living longleaf pine with a self-guided 1-mile hike! Just follow the signs from the Boyd Tract meadow into the woods for a 1-mile hike to see the Old Tree and the Former State Champion Longleaf. There’ll be a scavenger hunt for kids and informational signs about the longleaf forest and prescribed fire. Parking available at 555 E.
