24.05 – George Smith

(2024) Episode 5 – For George Smith, living for a century is only the latest in his list of a lifetime of blessings! Growing up poor as the youngest of eight children, he joined the Air Force in 1941 and served on the home front during World War Two. He then made a career in business and later became a high school math teacher. Along the way, he and his wife of more than sixty years raised four children of their own – and this year he celebrated his 100th birthday. His Christian faith has long been his grounding, and his “attitude of gratitude” is inspirational.
