23.19 – Sammy Rodriguez

(2023) Episode 19 – Sammy Rodriguez served in the Army for over twenty years – the majority of which was spent in the Special Forces medical community. Since his retirement, he has started working with the Thrive program through UNC Chapel Hill – which helps veterans and first responders suffering from traumatic brain injury or PTSD. Sammy will share about his childhood on Long Island, military service, his passion for helping fellow veterans, how he’s gotten through dark times, and his love for his family – including 5 children, 8 grandchildren, and his fiancée, Rose.
