21.25 – Anya Kiser

Born in Ukraine and put in an orphanage at the age of three, Anya Kiser’s early life didn’t give her a whole lot to smile about. But right before she turned 12, she was adopted by an American couple, moved across the world, learned English, and found out just how much power a simple smile can have. Since graduating from high school, Anya has worked, joined the Navy, studied abroad, and is now working two jobs while she pursues her MBA, and we are proud to have her as our guest on Grace Notes. Listen to hear Anya’s inspiring story, and her perspective on how the smallest actions, like a smile, can really turn a person’s day around. As she says – everyone has a story.
