2020 Holiday Events

• Going on now – LEE COUNTY – The Sanford Detachment of the Marine Corps League is supporting the local Toys for Tots program in Lee County. Everything collected in Lee County, stays in Lee County. Visit Sanford-NC.ToysforTots.org for a list of drop off locations or to give a monetary donation. Make a child’s Christmas brighter this year by supporting Toys for Tots.

• Now until Monday, December 14 – VIRTUAL – The Reindeer Fun Run, to benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Sandhills, is going virtual this year. You have until December 14 to participate. Find all the details on reindeerfunrun.com.

• SATURDAY, DECEMBER 5 – ABERDEEN – Enjoy the first annual Aberdeen Downtown Christmas Market, Saturday, December 5, 2020 from 2 pm to 10 pm. Music, lights, food, drinks, and craft vendors. Entrance on Talbooth Street downtown.

• Thursday, December 10 – SATURDAY, DECEMBER 12 – HOLLY SPRINGS – In lieu of the annual Christmas parade this year, Holly Springs will be hosting the Happy Holly Days Tree Trail at Ting Stadium on Main Street in Holly Springs. See trees decorated by local businesses – come during the day to avoid the crowds, or come at night to see the lights.

• Thursday, December 17 – ROBBINS – The Moore County Veteran Service Office and the Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC are sponsoring a Drive-Thru Veteran Food Distribution Thursday, December 17 from 11 am to 1 pm at the Westmoore Center on Highway 705 in Robbins.
