Weymouth Woods (Sandhills Nature Preserve) located at 1024 Fort Bragg Road will host The Life of a Pine on Sunday, June 10 at 3 pm. Learn about the natural history of our State Tree, the Longleaf Pine, on a short hike to see each of its distinct growth stages. View the scars that remain from the turpentine industry, and learn how to distinguish Longleaf from our other native pines! This event is free and open to the public.
