The Sandhills Detachment of the Marine Corps League will hold their monthly meeting on September 12th at 7:30 PM at the John Boyd VFW Post at 615 South Page Street in Southern Pines. All Marines who have honorably served in the U.S. Marine Corps are invited to come and learn more about the unit and the services they provide to our community, especially helping fellow Marines in need. Boles Funeral Home will present a program on final resting options and services available to veterans from Arlington Cemetary to other places of rest for veterans. Please come and join us for this interesting program and also find out how you can get involved in the Toys for Tots program through the Detachment.
