Weymouth Woods (Sandhills Nature Preserve) located at 1024 Fort Bragg Road in Southern Pines will host “My Favorite Fish” on Sunday, September 23 at 3 pm. Year of the Fish is winding down for North Carolina State Parks! While there are not a great amount of fish in Weymouth Woods, the diversity across the state is tremendous. Join a ranger as he talks about some of his favorites (favorite to catch, favorite to eat, favorite to see), and all the incredible adaptations some fish have! This program is free and open to the public.
