Weymouth Woods (Sandhills Nature Preserve) located at 1024 Fort Bragg Road in Southern Pines will host Grandparent’s Day-Family Tree Kite event on Sunday, September 9th at 3 pm. Grandparents bring your grandchildren to the meadow behind the Weymouth Center for an afternoon “Family Tree” kite building activity. Materials will be provided and there is plenty of room to try out the new kites. This program is free and open to the public.
